...if the exceptionally wealthy and corporations were made to pay their fair share in taxes...
...if all tax loopholes were eliminated...
...if we were to end all these 'for profit' wars...
...and the huge MIC was brought under control by eliminating a majority of our overseas 'empire' bases that are now in most ever country in the world.
But the fight to do any of these things will be extremely difficult, as those powerful individuals that would be affected will be putting up one hell of a fight to keep what they've got, and they have all the money necessary to buy the influence they need to keep the status quo.
It does not look promising, but that's not to say you shouldn't be continually contacting the President, Congress, and Senators letting your thoughts be known.

Dear Mr. President.. Congressman.. Senator,
When is it that the very rich and corporations are going to have all their special tax loopholes eliminated so they can start paying their fare share in taxes.
And when are we going to stop trying to be an empire... lets end these wars are close down the majority of all the thousands of military bases we now have overseas.
We have precious little time left before it will be too late. Your support and actions in these matters are critical to the future of our country.
