'The Saudi Connection'... published in U.S. World & News Report a couple years after 9/11 in December of 2003. It details the connection of our 'friends' the Saudis, and their funding of world terrorism.
Simple answer as to why... bribe money for the utterly lavish lifestyle of most of the 7,000 member 'royal' family. Extremist Muslims don't like theirs any more than ours, but the cash they need to fund their deadly activities has to come from somewhere... Saudi 'protection money' is the result.
The world's thirst for oil has caused, and continues to produce, much trouble and pain.
