Several main things occurring in this country sending it over the edge to oblivion:
- ..entering into the Vietnam War started it.. then the ending of conscription.. setting off disastrous chain of events we're living with the effects of to this day
- ..allowing the MIC to take control of such a large portion of our economy & foreign-policy.. (Ike's dire warning in 1961 was totally unheeded & right-on-the-mark..!!)
- ...having the two main political parties in service of the same master.. electing leadership after leadership catering to business interests over those of the general population.. (they are NOT the same & harmful to the greater good).
- ..allowing big-money into power to completely control & dominate politics
- ..fifty years ago ignoring all evidence of warning signs pointing to the looming crisis of climate-disruption
- ..all coupled with the complete emasculation of the truly important powers of a 'Fourth-Estate'..allowing & encouraging the free-move over to the dark-side.

We're now in impossible shape & huge trouble.. with one party lost completely to greed & influence of the very wealthy..
..the other so weakened by its desire to try and be all things to all segments of society as to make itself ineffective.
..and if that were not bad enough.. to actually actively try and undermine any real movement towards progressive policies that would help save the nation & life on the planet.
We need to save ourselves and in order to do that we are going to need massive investment in:
..JOBS.. HOUSING.. HEALTHCARE.. EDUCATION.. and a.. SAFE-ENVIRONMENT..
..these should all be thought of as BASIC-RIGHTS of all individuals everywhere..!!
And where does all the money come from.. where it should have been coming from all along:
- ..FAIR & EQUITABLE TAXATION.. with NO give-a-ways to the rich..
- ..REDUCED WAR SPENDING .. "We Have Spent $32 Million Per Hour on War Since 2001" ... all 'Wars-For-Profit' must be immediately ended.. and
- ..ELECTING PROGRESSIVE LEADERS.. those wanting to make these BASIC-RIGHTS a continuing & integral part of their agendas.
If we do or don't have enough time before climate rules completely over us, should have nothing to do with our desire to make all this happen..
..it's what's needs to get-done..!! ...(most especially should we have less time remaining).
In any event, mother-GAIA had taken exceptional care of us for thousands of yeas.. until WE decided we knew much better, and began our extreme abuse of the world around us..
..she'll remain.. though ours is of a very precarious & limited future.
WHAT WILL OUR WORLD BE LIKE IN 2050...??
